The Eeshopanishad is a Hindu Scripture of one of the highest prominence and belongs to a class of scriptures known as Upanishads. Of the 1180 known upanishads, Eeshopanishad is foremost in theological content and is usually listed first. It’s importance is summarized by what Mahatma Gandhi had to say about its first verse.
“If all the Upanishads and all other scriptures happended all of a sudden to be reduced to ashes, and if only the first verse in the Eeshopanishad were left in the memory of the Hindus, Hinduism would live forever.” – Mahatma Gandhi
The book is presented in a pothi format, a typical 1/2 size landscape (11 x 4.25) format used for most Hindu holy books. The book is bound and is gilded in gold.
