What: Five Great Acharyas
Where: At Tri Valley Gujarati Seniors Meeting
Chandravadan Shah’s Residence, San Ramon, CA
Program: Dr Hajratwala presented a short discourse on the five great Acharyas, Shree Adi Shankaracharya, Shree Nimbarkacharya, Shree Ramanajucharya, Shree Vallabhacharya, and Shree Madhvacharya. Their life histories and philosophy. A very good attendance of about 20 persons. Followed by afternoon tea and snacks. Our thanks to Mr. Chandravadan Shah for inviting us to speak.

What: The contribution of Indian people in the USA to the US Economy
Where: Plymouth Canton Asian Indian Seniors Meeting at the Summit, Canton, Michigan
Program: Dr Hajratwala presented a short talk on the contribution the Indians have made. In attendance was the Michigan State Senator, District 7, Patrick Colbeck. The meeting was attended by about 50 people and talk enjoyed by all. Followed by lunch. Our thanks to Arunbhai and Bharatiben Bhavsar for inviting us to speak.

What: The Three Paths to Moksha
Where: At the Satsang Group, Reena and Janardan Shah’s residence, W Bloomfield, Michigan
Program: Dr. Hajratwala presented a short talk on the Three paths to Moksha, Karma Marg, Gyan Marg, and Bhakti Marg. Followed by a spirited discussion with members. Talked was followed by a dinner with the hosts and selected Satsang members.

What: Discourse and Booksigning of The Eeshopanishad
Where: The Hindu Temple of Canton, Canton, Michigan
Program: Dr. Hajratwala presented a short discourse on the Eeshopanishad. The temple head priest Shree Shivkumar Bhat sang the entire 18 verses of the Eeshopanishad in his melodious voice. A copy of Eeshopanishad was presented by Dr & Mrs Hajratwala to Lord Krishna (as Eesha) with the help of Shree Shivkumar Bhat. Followed by Aarati. Prasad (as Lunch) provided by Dr. & Mrs. Hajratwala. Thirty percent of the book sales during Michigan visit were donated to the Hindu Temple. Attended by about 200 people. Our sincere thanks to the organizers, especially Mrs Bela Patel, and to the Board for inviting us.
